Meeting Point and Time: Hotel Rancho Corcovado Lodge, 7:15 a.m. Enjoy an unforgettable snorkeling adventure at Caño Island Biological Reserve, considered one of the best snorkeling destinations in Costa Rica. After an approximately 45-minute boat ride, you will explore two of the reserve's main snorkeling sites, where you may observe colorful coral reefs, tropical fish, sea turtles, rays, and, depending on the season, reef sharks and a wide variety of other marine species. Between snorkeling sessions, you will have time to relax and enjoy a snack on board. At the end of the tour, you will return to Drake Bay to enjoy a delicious lunch or a picnic at San Josecito Beach. The tour includes: • Certified guide. • Round-trip boat transportation. • Complete snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, and fins). • Snack. • Lunch. • Entrance fee to Caño Island Biological Reserve. Recommendations Please bring: • Reusable water bottle. • Swimsuit (optional). • Towel. • Lightweight, comfortable clothing. • Water shoes. • Sunscreen (preferably reef-safe/biodegradable). • Hat or cap. • Sunglasses. • Underwater camera (optional). • Please inform us in advance if you have any allergies, medical conditions, or if you do not know how to swim. Important: To help protect the coral reefs, please follow your guide's instructions at all times. Touching or removing corals, shells, or any marine organisms is strictly prohibited. Additional Information: Depending on the season, you may also have the opportunity to see dolphins, humpback whales (July–October and December–March), and seabirds during the boat ride.
